Our Legacy Program
At Callum Solutions, we go beyond traditional security services by offering comprehensive training opportunities to the young people under our care. In collaboration with local authorities, businesses, colleges, and apprenticeship providers, we provide a wide range of training programs to develop their skills and abilities.
Our training empowers young individuals to channel their expressions in positive ways.
We offer training in functional skills such as mathematics and English, as well as music, sports and fitness, food technology, and multi-skills encompassing various construction trades.
By nurturing their talents and interests, we enable these young people to become highly functioning citizens, equipped with valuable skills that will serve them well in their future endeavours.
Functional Skills
Maths and English Tutoring
We are offering Functional skills Maths and English so that the students can function confidently to a desired industry outcome.
It will be tailored and adapted to suit everyone’s needs. Students will enhance their employability in bringing them to industry standard. Once employed they are released from the council’s responsibility financially
Life Skills
Cooking
Young people who choose Cooking, will benefit from being taught by a Chef/ Baker, with experience working with young people in care. For 4 hours a week, over 14 weeks, your young people will learn essential life skills. Thereby encouraging a growth mindset that will enable them to be self-sufficient, and give them a sense of accomplishment.
Music
Should your young person in care choose our Music pathway, they will benefit from being tutored by a Music industry professional, with links to well-known artists like Stormzy, and The Hip Hop Orchestra.
Allowing your young person to express themselves, channelling their past experiences into a positive outlet, will enable them to create their own narrative, providing therapy for any past trauma
Sports & Fitness
Should your young person choose the Sports pathway, they will benefit from learning about how Fitness can improve their mind, as well as their body.
Taught by a semi-pro athlete, with experience of teaching in secondary schools, this course is delivered in a fun and interactive way, that engages in a way the young person can relate.
Multi-skills Course
We will utilise our skill set to train young people to renovate void properties to recognised on the job current industry multi skills standard that will be returned to the council for repurposing.
The multi skills students can supply the facilities needed to deliver other programs we offer, working alongside the local councils will provide the support needed to further support these children whilst also working with the councils for example community work for council buildings, public services and public areas.
The work carried out will help these children understand the importance of community and give them a sense of achievement whilst providing an essential service and give them not only the skills to thrive but more importantly the opportunity to do so.
